How do I apply to an early childhood program?

I don’t remember how to log-in to my account.  Should I set up another account?

  • No, do not set up another account.  Click on “forgot your password” or “forgot your email” and follow the directions to obtain access to your current account

How old does my child have to be to apply for Pre-K?

  • Children must be 4 years old on or before September 30th

Where can I get an immunization record? 

Where can I get a birth certificate?

Why do you need my income documents?

  • Early Head Start, Head Start, and Public Pre-K programs are grant funded.  Income documents are needed to determine if families meet the income eligibility guidelines.

Can I use a W-2?

  • A W-2 IS an allowable form of income documentation for the Early Head Start/Head Start program.
  • A W-2 is NOT an allowable form of income documentation for the Public Pre-K program.

How do I know what Public Pre-K school I am zoned for?

What if I don’t have a gas, water or electric utility bill in my name? 

What do I do if I don’t have income documents? 

What are my other options if my child doesn’t get into the program I chose as my first preference?

  • If you do not qualify for your first preference, the application will transfer to the program that you chose as your second preference.

How will I be notified if my child is accepted?

  • You will receive an email, text or both.

What do I do if my income changes?

  • If your application has not been processed, log back into the system to update the income portion.
  • If you application has already been processed, contact the program that you listed as your first preference.
