School Closures Due to Weather

According to the district virtual attendance policy, students should work in their virtual classes for an average of 4 hours per school day. If schools are closed due to weather related events, students are not required to fulfill this time requirement on those days. However, students will still need to complete all lessons and assignments by the end of the grading period which may require them to work additional time once school reopens. If there is an extended period of power or internet outage, virtual assignments may be adjusted to account for fewer virtual class days in the grading period. Any school closures will always be considered when determining full attendance for this week.

An important component of a student's success in the virtual program is the communication between you and your child's virtual facilitator.  The primary mode of contact will be email, but we are also requesting a phone number for each child's parent/guardian.  If you have not already done so, please take a minute to complete the form below in order for your child's virtual facilitator to have the most up-to-date contact information.
