The Waterford Upstart Summer Learning Path is being offered this summer to help Iberia Parish’s four year-olds prepare for Kindergarten.

The Waterford Upstart Summer Learning Path is completed in the home at any time that fits the family’s schedule. Children will have lessons for 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week to help with their reading skills. There are also daily math and science programs that are optional if families choose to use them. Because the program is done on the computer, families will also be provided a computer and internet access if needed. 

All participating families will have an assigned “Coach” that they can contact any time for questions or assistance. Additionally, families will be provided with fun activities that can be used with the kids to keep them learning all day. It's a great way to fill those long summer days!
